Back Home
After leaving New York City to move back home to Colorado in 2019, I pursued and eventually landed a job with the Marketing & Creative Department at 9NEWS, the most-watched local news outlet in Denver.
As Creative Director, I led award-winning creative including state-wide marketing campaigns, community activations with local partners, sponsor integrations, and professional sports partnerships. We also launched new branded content, such as the Heartland Emmy award-winning Originals campaign, Steve on Your Side, 9NEWS+ streaming, and a year-long campaign for the 70th year of 9NEWS.
A Fresh Look at Fairways
In partnership with Wendell Haskins, Mike Ferguson & Chris Downing, we produced two episodes of Club Life for CBS Sports Network.
Our first episode featured record executive Kevin Liles and professional golfer Sadena Parks, and the second episode featured former Major League Baseball player Gary Sheffield and professional golfer Emmy Martin.

Special Projects & Content
Emmy award-winning creative producer, writer and editor. Produced, wrote and/or edited TV spots and promotional trailers for ABC News shows and specials, including Good Morning America, World News Tonight, Nightline, This Week with George Stephanopoulos and 20/20.
Created promos and show opens for The Oscars live pre-show, ABC News Election Night 2016 coverage, the Democratic/Republican conventions, Presidential debates, and was recognized by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences with an Emmy for contributions to a town hall with David Muir and Barack Obama called The President and the People: A National Conversation.
Executed non-broadcast video presentations for the President of ABC News, James Goldston, to help facilitate building new and large partnerships such as the ABC News Live streaming presence on Hulu, Roku, and Apple TV.
Constant Content At
The Highest Standards
In collaboration with the Executive Producer of the Marketing and Creative Services department, I created a spec spot to pitch and land the highly sought-after first TV interview with James Comey after being fired by Donald Trump. The ABC News broadcast of the interview got over 10 million viewers.
Because of increased ability to reach audiences online, ABC News began promoting primetime documentary specials with trailers, with exclusive first looks rolled out on publications like Esquire.com and People.com (the trailer).
At the end of each calendar year I produced promotions for the Robin Roberts & Jimmy Kimmel special In Memoriam, as well as Robin Roberts’ annual ABC News rewind The Year.
Shortly after I joined the ABC News Marketing and Creative Services department, David Muir took over ‘World News Tonight’. I worked with David to craft his ongoing campaigns and promote some of his exclusive interviews. I also collaborated with David Muir on a very special announcement.
High-Stakes, High-Pressure
America is Watching
I started my tenure at ABC News working on internet interview segments for Diane Sawyer, but soon after, I was producing and editing the first minute (known as the “headlines”) of the World News with Diane Sawyer broadcast.
Later, after moving to Marketing, I would produce/edit promos for her specials including her exclusive interviews with Jaycee Dugard and Caitlyn Jenner.
A Suitcase, A Dream
& A Whole Lotta Hustle
MTV News. Vote Or Die, 2004. Sean Combs and I hit the floor of the DNC tracking down celebrities and politicians, and a young Senator from Illinois who had made noise with a powerful speech the night before.
In the summer of 2005, Kurt Williamson and I were approached to direct and produce an EPK for an up-and-coming young artist - Rihanna. Shortly after, I produced a promotional video for The Black Eyed Peas’ non-profit organization, The Peapod Foundation.
In 2006, I followed my heart to the baseball field and covered the New York Mets with Mets Weekly, a show produced by MTV colleague Darin Byrne.
I moved to Los Angeles in 2008, and directed content for an artist I had connected with years earlier while at MTV. I went home to Colorado in 2009, where I produced, wrote and edited an award-winning local documentary on Colorado National Guard members stationed in Iraq.
